Scanlator Rules & Guidelines

Thanks for being part of MangaHarbor. These aren’t strict laws but more like a guide so everyone knows the general idea

1. General

Be respectful, don’t impersonate other groups, and don’t bring drama. If there are problems between scanlators, I’ll step in as a mediator.

2. Uploading

Uploads are totally free for all: webp, jpg, png are fine. No need for permission, but don’t just mirror another site’s work. If a publisher or creator wants content removed, we’ll comply (DMCA requests).

3. Content

Keep it SFW. Gore is okay, but NSFW is not allowed. We’re not an adult site.

4. Quality & Trust

Right now, there’s no revenue sharing (site is ad-free). In the future, if we grow, I’ll discuss it directly with active scanlators. For now, I’ll personally check groups based on their quality, update frequency, and originality. If you’re caught stealing other scans, you’re out.

5. Verified Scanlators

Verified scanlators are trusted groups/users. Requirements:

• Over 100 total likes on your chapters ( the fourth of february we decided to remove this requirement )
• Consistent uploads (doesn’t have to be weekly — monthly is fine depending on the manga)
• Not stealing work from others

Verified scanlators get a tag and access to a private drive (20 GB storage , may increase depending on demand).

6. Penalties

Honestly, I don't really know.If something goes wrong I’ll handle it myself. Later on, I might add warnings/blacklists, but at the moment I’m focused on the website’s core features.

7. Reporting

You can report issues directly on the site (work in progress). For now, just DM me on Discord: okbinoutube.

8. Changes

These rules are subject to changes anytime, depending on how the site evolves.
